NLP
"NLP may be the most powerful vehicle for change in existence"
(Psychology Today magazine).
"NLP provides a way to look past the behavioral content of what people do to the more invisible forces behind those behaviors; to the structures of thought that allow people to perform effectively."
- Robert Dilts, "Modeling With NLP
"The connection between the mind and body is not just a trendy phrase: it is an important and growing subject of scientific research."
- Herbert Benson, M.D.
NLP techniques are the best processes for creating fast and long-lasting change in your life. Many other systems are good at discovering problems but don't give you tools for painless, fast, change."
- Tad James
"Enhancing communication and, hence, building rapport represents the most applicable aspect of NLP to investigators. The ability to communicate effectively and build rapport stands as one of the major contributors to a police officer's success in dealing with the public."
- FBI August 2001 Law Enforcement Bulletin
"Diners Club trained every manager and representative in the customer service area in NLP skills for handling customer and internal communication. The net result was a 254% increase in customer spending, and a 67% reduction in customer loss."

What is NLP?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is the science of how the brain codes subjective experience. This coding affects how you communicate with yourself and others, your behaviors and how you experience and respond to the world around you.
Initially developed by Dr. John Grinder and Dr. Richard Bandler as a tool for modelling human excellence, NLP applications are now widely used internationally in therapy, counseling, coaching, personal development, sports, health, business, communication and education.
It is a powerful technology for personal change and achievement.
It provides tools for Health, Happiness and Peace of Mind.
Here's another way of putting it...
If you have goals you want to reach, NLP will help you Supercharge those goals. You'll make them...
- Exciting
- Compelling
- Achievable
You'll be able to...
Achieve what you once only dreamed of.
And along the way, you'll...
Resolve problems quickly...
NLP will help you understand your problems, get past them, over them, under them, around them or right straight through them -
Faster, cheaper and easier...
NLP leaves psychology, coaching and hypnosis in the dust. It's simply more advanced.
And the process of using NLP is enjoyable.

What happens during an NLP session?
Rather than dwelling on problems, your NLP consultant will facilitate you in focusing on what you want and how to make those changes occur.
As each person has their own unique set of experiences and thinking patterns, each consultation will be uniquely tailored to address the specific challenges and outcomes of the individual client.
NLP sessions are custom designed to explore your full potential and overcome problems in a caring, effective way.
From the beginning, you participate fully in setting direction and staying focused on results.
The process of NLP is one of self-discovery and self-change. NLP does not impose ideas on you. You decide what you want, and NLP helps you get there.
How is NLP Coaching different from ordinary coaching?
If you search the web for executive or personal coaches, in addition to finding descriptions of the benefits which coaching can provide, you'll find a common coaches' rule about clients -- that they are only "ready" for coaching if they are "emotionally stable and not going through any major, personal period of crisis or distress," and that most of their "family of origin issues and conflicts have been resolved."
Yet emotions, crisis, distress, family of origin issues, and conflicts are among the most common factors that limit a person's success. Few people have purely conceptual obstacles to reaching their goals.
A professional NLP Master Practitioner who is also a Certified Coach is a greater resource to anyone seeking help with a goal or a problem because such practitioners are not out of their depth when the water gets deep. They can professionally guide you to the resolution of deep emotional, self concept, behavioral and relational issues and move forward in ways which ordinary coaches cannot.
How is NLP and Life Coaching different to Counselling?
Traditionally, counselling tends to focus in on clients' problems. If you put your attention to a problem behaviour or problem emotion you can often intensify the experience of the problem. In contrast Virtuosity life coaches focus on the clients desired outcomes. As clients attend to what they want resources can be explored and gathered towards meeting those desires. NLP makes no diagnoses about a person's mental health or illness. Its focus is purely on results. It proposes that people are not broken -- they work perfectly to produce the results they are getting -- even if the results are not desirable. If a person doesn't like the results they are getting, NLP provides tools to help them get the results they desire.
An NLP Master practitioner has the technology to facilitate change in any problems that arise in relationship to the clients outcomes. It is about having the ability to track patterns of language and behaviour. And then knowing how to work with those patterns so that the client can make useful changes in their lives. Counselling and most psychotherapy attends to and tends to get caught up with the clients content, NLP attends to pattern and process, the how. How is that individual or team organising their experience? And how can they reorganise their experience to achieve their outcomes?

Then the bad will have no place!

And there are reaches to be attained,
A last level of anxiety that melts
In becoming, like miles under the pilgrim's feet."

What age groups do you work with?
We work with adults of all ages. (17 plus)
Young Adults
Creating great relationships, gaining self-confidence, and moving forward to our life dreams make this an exciting time to be alive.
Strategizing an excellent career is both effective and challenging. Setting core values, direction and goals, and following through to action together create rewards that last a lifetime.
Young adults who take the time to align themselves within and overcome their obstacles have a tremendous advantage in all the years that follow. They are more successful, more resourceful in the face of challenges, and enjoy life more completely.
Middle Adults
With the additional experience that comes with middle adulthood, certain limiting factors resulting from earlier life experiences may become apparent. It can be a confusing time - with tremendous potential for discovery.
Every middle adult makes adjustments and course corrections. It may be a time to re-evaluate and consider significant changes in order to move forward in more fulfilling ways. We may revitalize postponed dreams, recapture enthusiasms, and find better ways to reach our goals.
Mature Adults
Mature adults can be among the most creative, intelligent and enthusiastic of all - partly because of our life experience, and partly because we understand there is no time like the present to make the most of life.
It is a time to ensure that we accomplish our life's mission, to take care of ourselves in positive ways, and to appreciate life to the fullest. We may feel conflicted about aging, time or health. It may be an opportunity for healing old wounds and making peace with ourselves. We may wish to put hurtful memories to rest, forgive and move forward, and overcome remaining barriers to our joy and fulfillment.
It's never too late to be happy, improve health, keep learning, do something important, and enjoy every moment of life.. . .
Are your sessions confidential?
Yes our sessions are completely confidential and discreet.
We do not reveal or discuss client names or any other personally identifiable session content or information with anyone without the express permission or request of my client.
NLP: The potential & the challenge...
Neuro Linguistic Programming: an epistemology, a modelling of excellence, a study of human behaviour and the various aspects of communication,
a study and analysis of subjective experience, NLP is an implementation of this modelling to enable others to replicate the modelled excellence in
their owns spheres, it is self-discovery and the exploration of identity and mission.
NLP is the study of who you are what you are, the application of methodologies to identify, experience, recognise and designate the qualities,
behaviours and mindsets that generate effectiveness. The ability to rapidly study and then influence people in a positive manner is key to the
process, creating Rapport as the channel into their perceptions is pivotal to heightening awareness, and heightened awareness always works change.
Change though translated into enhancement, development, improvement, enrichment and excellence. Most would still consider these the ongoing
essential goals of whatever form their life takes, wherever they want to travel in the pathways of their existence and whatever their beliefs may be.
Realise any of these 5 aspects and you can work significant change in your own working, family or social spheres. Your quality of life and your
effectiveness in your endeavours will intensify, be it in career, relationships, sports & pursuits, the arts or people management.
What does NLP encompass and how far reaching is it in reality?
That is where the challenge lies...
The question remains where NLP ceases to apply and where the inner "spiritual" aspects of our identity deliver our guidance and are the source
of perhaps even greater wisdom. Creating bridges and transition between these two fundamental aspects of the human entity is a lofty goal, and
we here at Virtuosity subscribe to it, although we must be fully aware of the reality that the scope of potential achievement through NLP alone
will continue to deliver results for most of us for most of our everyday life.
Virtuosity is a New Code NLP Practice which achieves results without hypnosis.
